Did you know that the DCARC website has a Classified Ads section for our registered users?  Yep we sure do.  If you log into with your user name and password you will find the link to the Classified Ads section by clicking on the drop down menu under Our Club.  Currently the link is at the bottom of the drop down menu.  Please keep your ads consistent with what other members may be interested in to help them enjoy the hobby.  If you have any questions about this feature please feel free to contact me.

The work on the website continues.  We have now have an easy way to post our website content directly to Facebook.  This should help all of us with the same message on our Facebook and Web pages.  Don't worry I'll update the picture on the Facebook page so it looks better.  :)

difference between AREDN and BBHN. Do you want to step up from Linksys
to Ubiquiti, then come and find out the available equipment?  Then have
unveiled before you eyes “MeshChat”. You will have to come to find out
what that is. Have revealed to you some future plans for Mesh in Davis

Dave, K7PDW, will continue with introducing the antenna analyzer at a
tool for dealing with the measurement of impedance characteristics.

It is with deep sadness that I pass along to you that John Mabey W7CWK passed away peacefully with his family by his side this afternoon about 3:20 PM.  John had been a stalwart in the Utah Amateur Radio Community for many years, a friend and Elmer to all he met.  John's key is now silent but his memory will remain with us as long as we live.

No funeral arrangements have been made at this time but the family indicated the funeral will most likely be held early next week.  I will pass that along as soon as I find out.

** UPDATE **

Hall Blankenship sent the following update on Feb. 18, 2016

I spoke with John's son Mike tonight.  There will be a viewing on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm and from 9:45 to 10:45 am on Tuesday Morning at the Russon Brother's funeral home, 295 N. Main, in Bountiful.  There may be further information when the obituary appears probably in both the Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret News.  I will send out a copy as soon as I see on.
