Wonder Woman and Summit Challenge Races

Category: Serving In Our Community Published: Wednesday, 15 August 2018 Written by Craige Olson

Just under two weeks away from the Summit Challenge and I could really use some more help.

This is always a tough ride to support because of the way the route is laid our for the different distances and therefore the need for more support folks than the average ride.

We only have half as many SAG drivers as we need..  we only  have one person to ride along in a shuttle when we need three...  There are still three rest stops that have no comms person... and we still could use two folks to shadow the ride and route directors.

So.. I am back to begging...  This is a great organization and this ride raises money to allow them to do great things in our communities.  Please, if you are available on August 25th, even if it's for a short period of time (example, one of the rest stops is scheduled to open at 10:30 AM and should be closed between 11:30 and Noon) consider helping out.  And also remember, this is a great way to get experience in a real world, unscripted event using your radio to get prepared for the inevitable emergency call out.
