I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that came out to our relaxed meeting/breakfast/programming session yesterday. I sure enjoyed it and even though I didn't need anything programmed, it was great to see fellow hams helping each-other out.
Click on the link to open the list of frequencies I programmed into Baofeng radios at the club breakfast this morning.
A few of you noticed that the website would not let us log in the last couple of days and sent an e-mail in reporting the issue. First THANK YOU for letting me know. The system applied an update that didn't fully update. The issue has been corrected and the system is stable once again.
Thanks for your continued support.
Running the club store is a big job, and for every hour our volunteers are selling things there is about as many hours dedicated to loading, unloading, ordering, inventory, pricing, and other tasks involved. We're looking for another volunteer to help our existing staff. We want to both lighten the load for existing staff, and perhaps expand to make our store available at more ham radio events.
On Thursday August 11th at 1800 hours, we will gather for our annual club picnic at Smoot Park located at 1550 N Main Street Centerville, Utah. Bring your own meat to grill plus a side dish to share with the group. The club will provide cups, plates, utensils and water. We will have a Fox Hunt,(145.565) and the winner will receive a prize.
On Saturday August 13th beginning at 0800 hours, we will meet for breakfast at the Golden Corral located at 1624 N. Heritage Park Blvd Layton, Utah. After breakfast we will program radios and answer any questions you may have. If you have a laptop and programming cable and are willing to help out, please do so. I can program Baofeng UV-5xx, Wouxun UVD1/UV3D, Kenwood TH-F6A and TM-V71A radios. If you have any question, please post them to our Facebook Page.
